I have two blogs that I want to merge into one. I have older scrapbook layouts and cards on the other blog that I thought I would start bringing over to The Football Mom. A while back I made this layout using the Create A Critter cartridge. I love all the cute critters in this cartridge and wanted to put as many as I could on the page! This is one of my absolute favorite layouts!

My Bingo Card Made the Cricut Chirp!

This has just been an amazing month for me! My Car Travel Bingo Card made the Message Board Highlights in the Cricut Chirp newsletter! This is the second project of mine that has made the newletter! Thank you to the people who viewed and commented on it!

Happy Father's Day!

Today we celebrate Father's Day! I am so truly blessed to have a wonderful dad who has taught me so much and has always been there when I needed him. He has always shown me what my future husband should be like!

When I met my husband, Bobby, it was magical! 20 years later, it's still magical! He's my Superman! Not only is he a wonderful husband but he is an awesome father to our 15 year old son!

In honor of the father's in my life, I made a Father's Day card and a gift bag. (My brain can only handle coming up with one design a week, so I made my dad and husband the same card!)

Since I gave my dad a gift card to his favorite store, I only had to make the gift bag for my husband.

I used the Father's Day Seasonal (card and bag) and Elegant Edges Cricut Cartridges (bag only).

My YeeHaw Layout Made the Cricut Chirp!

It has been an awesome week for me in the Cricut world! On Monday, my Bingo Card made "Project of the Day" on the Cricut Circle blog and then today I found out my YeeHaw layout made the Message Board Highlights in the Cricut Chirp newsletter! So cool!

I'm so excited! My latest project was featured as the "Project of the Day" on the Cricut Circle Blog!

Car Travel Bingo

I'm really getting into all of the Cricut Circle Weekly and Monthly challenges! My odds of winning are very slim but it's still fun! So, for the Cricut Circle Monthly Challenge entry, I decided to make a car travel bingo card.

How to play:

• Prepare: Make a different Bingo card for each player. Use the same images but put them in different squares.
• Distribute: Hand out one Bingo card to each player.
• Call: When a player sees an image on their card, the player needs to call it. For example, if a player sees a cow, the player must say, "Cow!"
• Mark Image: The player will then place a penny, button, Skittles, fun foam pieces or something similar on the called image if it is on their card.
• Winning: Once a predetermined pattern is made on the card, the player with that card calls out "Bingo!"

Predetermined Patterns:

• Blackout Bingo: All images must be marked to get a Bingo.
• Lines Bing: Must make a horizontal, diagonal OR vertical line to get a Bingo.
• T's Bingo: Fill the card in the shape of a right-side up, upside down or sideways captial T.
• U's Bingo: Fill the card in the shape of a right-side up, upside down or sideways U.
• Squares Bingo: Fill the card in the shape of a square (top, left, right and bottom).

Cartridges use:

• Pop Up Neighborhood for the cow, church train, barn, corn stalk, windmill, airplane, and horse
• Elegant Edges for the stamp background shape
• Storybook for "BINGO" and "FREE"
• Damask Decor for the flourishes above and below "FREE"

Hello There Card

I made this quick little card for the Cricut Circle Blog Weekly Challenge.

I used Indie Art for the strawberry and French Manor for the flourish. I stamped "Hi There" with VersaMark and heat set it with white embossing powder. I tried white craft ink first and it just looked... what's the word? Faded? The embossing is much better!
