Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut "Sky" Challenge

This week's challenge on Stuck On U Sketches (SOUS) was to create a project that contained something you would see in the sky. This was my take on the challenge.

(The tiny speck above my son in the picture of him standing in the field is actually a kite!)

Cricut Cartridges Used:
  • 3 Birds on Parade for "Flying High"
  • Create A Critter for the clouds
  • Just A Note for the kite
  • Hopscotch for the cloud paper
  • Elegant Edges for the background shape

Barber Style

This weekend, I worked on my Cricut Circle Blog Monthly Challenge. This month the challenge was to create a project of our choice utilizing Cricut Cut Images to create a scene using (but not required) the latest Circle Exclusive cartridge, Pop-Up Neighborhood.

When I opened the handbook for Pop-Up Neighborhood, the first page I opened to was the barber shop. I have been wanting to scrap some recent pictures my husband took of my son in the barber's chair.

The scissors for the "Y" is my favorite part of the layout! There are a couple of things I would like to add to the page... pictures (of course) and something on the shop window. Any suggestions? My son's name, maybe? I need a clear alphabet stamp set...

Cricut Cartridges Used:
  • Sophisticated for "Barber Style"
  • Everyday Cricut for the scissors
  • Pop-Up Neighborhood for the tree, barber shop, dog, and street light
  • Graphically Speaking for the fire hydrant

Announcing... My New Design Team Position!

I have been waiting to announce my new design team position and today I finally can! I am happy to announce that I have joined the first Stuck On U Sketches Die Cut Design Team!

Stuck On U Sketches (SOUS) originally started with sketch challenges but they have now expanded their challenges to die cuts! Even though I primarily use and love my Cricut, we can use any die cut machine we own!

You can join the fun, too! Challenges are posted every other week and you can enter your own projects!

I am honored to have the opportunity to create alongside such a talented group of ladies! I hope to inspire everyone around me to create beautiful and fun projects of their own and to be inspired by you!
